B104 radio ROAR social house happy hourThis weekend City Center will be abuzz, thanks to B104‘s Kyle Anthony, who will be broadcasting live on Saturday, October 3, 2015, at ROAR Social House. Kyle and the B104 crew will be on hand from 4 to 6 p.m., and creative cocktails and amazing food will be available —and let’s not forget great company, too!

The B104 happy hour is ROAR’s way of celebrating their newest offering to the burgeoning Downtown Allentown music scene: free live performances every Friday and Saturday night. This weekend’s offerings include a Friday evening performance by George Torella, and a Saturday night show by Hector Rosado Y Siete. Both events are from 9:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.

The latest City Center businesses to embrace a regular schedule of live music are ROAR Social House and its backroom speakeasy HUSH. Having offered free live music during both the Allentown JazzFest and the City Center Summer Concert Series, ROAR and HUSH owners the Saylor Family have taken the ball and run with it. They are now offering free live music every Friday and Saturday night through the end of the year. With a wide array of musicians and musical styles in the lineup, there’s never been a better time to explore downtown each weekend.
