Destination Arts launches Third Thursdays in Downtown Allentown

November 15, 2016  /  A new and exciting monthly event begins this week with Hamilton District Main Street Program‘s DESTINATION ARTS: Third Thursdays. From 5 to 8 p.m. on the third Thursday of every month, Downtown Allentown’s arts and business communities will join forces to create a unique and eclectic evening experience. Exhibitions, sales, classes, special menus and more will be featured at many of the local arts venues, artist studios, retailers and restaurants. Every month, new discoveries will await you, too.

The inaugural Third Thursday kicks off November 17, and includes the following activities:

Art at Night: Every Thursday the museum’s galleries are open until 8 p.m., with FREE entry after 4 p.m. Tour the exhibition Warren Rohrer: The Language of Mark Making.

Happy hour from 5 to 8 p.m. with free craft beer and 20% off of all dresses.

Hues of Red and Blue: The 2016 Presidential Election: The presidential art shows from the Allentown Art Museum and RE:find’s Gallery on the Walk are being combined at the Gallery on the Walk.  This is your last chance to purchase a piece of 2016 election history!  The gallery will be open from 5 to 8 p.m.
